Bagger-Sørensen Equity expands its portfolio of companies

29. September 2025

As of October 1, 2025, Baso Group, founded by Bagger-Sørensen Equity, expands its portfolio of companies with the acquisition of ECM Industries and Trier Industries. Together, ECM Industries and Trier Industries employ 140 people, and both companies specialize in developing high-tech solutions within metalworking. With these investments, Baso Group significantly strengthens the supply chain for the industry and further expands its strong position within metalworking.

“This is a big day for all of us, and we are extremely pleased to welcome ECM Industries and Trier Industries on board in Baso Group. Both companies are among the country’s leading players in their respective fields, and together we can become something even greater. From the initial sparring and consulting in design, development, and construction within sheet metal and machining – all the way to both mechanical and electrical assembly. The ability to act both as a component supplier and as a solution partner can create great value for both our existing and new customers,” says Søren Birn, CEO of Bagger-Sørensen Equity.
