The activity level at Bagger-Sørensen Equity continues to rise

Bagger-Sørensen Equity (BSE) was established at the end of 2020 to manage the Bagger-Sørensen family’s direct investments in small and medium-sized companies. The portfolio now consists of 9 primary investments, along with 11 add-on acquisitions made over the past four years. The total revenue across the portfolio is expected to exceed DKK 2 billion in 2025, with the companies employing approximately 900 people in total.

In response to the continued increase in activity, it has been decided to expand the organization at BSE to ensure our ability to assess and execute new investment opportunities and, most importantly, to continue providing the active ownership that defines BSE as both investor and owner.

It is therefore a pleasure to announce that Ole Bridal has joined Bagger-Sørensen Equity A/S on January 6, 2025. Over the past two years, Ole has served as CEO of Flex Wind Group A/S (a BSE portfolio company), where he will be succeeded by Pernille Fløjgaard, the current COO of Flex Wind Group A/S. Ole will join BSE with a focus on evaluating investment opportunities, participating in investment processes, and assisting the management teams of the respective portfolio companies with projects, acquisitions, and plan execution.

Going forward, and with reference to BSE CEO Søren Birn, Kenneth Sandfeld Hansen, who has significantly contributed over the past 2½ years to the establishment and development of BSE’s investments in small and medium-sized companies, and Ole Bridal will assume primary responsibility for their respective portfolios of companies. In the companies where BSE holds a majority stake, they will join the respective portfolio company boards as chairpersons.
